The City should pursue an intentional and understandable approach to communicating what is needed in meeting agendas, staff memos, and reports that are presented to the City Commission and other advisory boards and committees. In addition to how information is presented, the City should consider alternative methods for delivery of information and allow multiple ways for the public to engage in the process. The application, review, and appointment process for all advisory boards and committees should also be reviewed.
