5.7 Continue marketing efforts that promote community assets.
Action Item Description
To enhance Manhattan’s reputation as a leading community in the Midwest and expand its global footprint, marketing campaigns from the Greater Manhattan Economic Partnership (GMEP), the Manhattan Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (CVB) and other partners should continue to promote tourism, business relocation and expansion, and Manhattan’s vibrant culture and access to a variety of unique amenities. Building external awareness of Manhattan’s assets among prospective employers, investors, and corporate relocation professionals will enhances the City’s goals in economic diversification.
